Donghyun Kim
I will graduate this spring from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Computer Science (Machine Learning & Theory Specializations).
Broadly, I am interested in machine learning for computational biology to advance our understanding of diseases.
I will be joining the Computer Vision group in the Center for Computational Biology at the Flatiron Institute this summer as a research intern.
As a research intern at the Allen Institute (continuing work as a Visiting Scientist), I have experience developing graph machine learning methods to study cell-cell interaction networks with spatial transcriptomics data.
I am fortunate to have been advised by Dr. Uygar Sümbül, Dr. Vince Calhoun, and Dr. Srijan Kumar.
I expect to obtain permanent residency by June 2025.
